Microsoft Word or Project 2003 crashes during Uninstallation of MindManager

Symptoms
Microsoft Word or Project 2003 crashes when MindManager is uninstalled via the system account.

Cause
WINWORD.EXE and WONPROJ.EXE are started in the background during uninstallation to ensure a proper removal of potentially installed MindManager add-ins. These processes may crash if this action is performed under a system account. The cause for this behaviour is a known issue in Office 2003 which is fixed by a Microsoft Hotfix.

Resolution
Install the Microsoft Hotfix KB912022 before uninstalling MindManager. You can find more information on the Microsoft Support Page:
