MindManager 7 Installation freezes or fails with error regarding .NET 2.0 Framework

Symptom
Installation of MindManager 7 freezes or fails with error message: "1601 Error installing Microsoft(R).NET Framework"

Cause
On some systems there can be problems installing the Microsoft .NET framework with the integrated MindManager 7 setup.

Resolution
In most cases the installation runs succesfully, if the components are installed separately.

Follow these steps:

1. Please download and extract the Admin-Setup.

English:
http://cssdl.mindjet.com/MindManager 7.2.374 Pro Admin EN.zip

German:
http://www1.mindjet.de/downloads/mm70/MindManager7.0.429ProAdminGER.zip

2. Install the .NET Framework via the file dotnetfx20.exe

3. Then install MindManager via the file Mindjet MindManager Pro 7 Admin.msi
