Database Linker: MySQL connection not working

Applies to: MindManager 8
 
Symptom
When adding a MySQL Server connection to MindManager, the database will not be connected. MindManager does not give any error.
 
Cause
MySQL database connectors are missing from MindManager installation.
 
Resolution
Please follow these steps to resolve the issue:
 
1. Close MindManager
2. Go to MySQL homepage: http://dev.mysql.com/downloads/connector/net/5.2.html 
3. Download and install the connectors - Windows Binaries (ZIP)
4. Start MindManager and add the MySQL database connection
