Built-In Browser: Hyperlinked file does not open

Symptom
When trying to open a hyperlinked Non-Office document (such as PDF, ZIP or images) in the built-in browser, it shows the message: "The page cannot be displayed".
 
Cause
The Hyperlink path is Relative and the file itself is stored in a folder location which is below the original map location (one or multiple levels).
 
Resolution
To resolve the issue do one of the following:
 
- Change the Hyperlink path to Absolute or
- Move the hyperlinked file to the same or higher folder level as the original map or
- Open the linked file outside of MindManager (Right click on the link > "Open Outside of MindManager")
