Attachments in a map do not open
Applies to: MindManager 8, 7 Symptom When trying to open an attachment nothing happens. Depending on MindManager options the security dialog may be shown, but when confirming "Yes" the attached file does not open. Cause MindManager has trouble in calling the API of your anti-virus software to autoscan attached files. Resolution In order to resolve the issue, follow these steps: 1. Close MindManager 2. Download and unzip linked file: http://www1.mindjet.de/downloads/support/MindManagerCustomParameters.zip 3. Copy the file into the MindManager programs folder (where MindManager.exe is located). This usually is: "C:\Program Files\Mindjet\MindManager <version>". Do not rename the file. Keep it as is. 4. Start MindManager and try opening an attachment. It should work again.
