MindManager 8 Visual C++ runtime error after application startup

Symptom

After successfully launching MindManager (user will see the full application menu) the application shows a Visual C++ runtime error. On confirming the error message the application will close.

 

Cause

There is an issue with the Design Partner program in MindManager.

 

Resolution

To resolve the issue, please download the below zip file:

http://cssdl.mindjet.com/SkipUsageLogInvitation.zip

 

- Open the zip file and double-click the registry script inside to run it.

- Choose yes to modify the registry.

- When this is successful, re-launch MindManager 8 and you should not see the error.
