How to add custom icons

It is possible to use your own custom icons in MindManager. The icons are .ico files with three image sizes, 16x16, 32x32, and 128x128, in 256 colors. A web search for "icon creation" will usually find many different programs to try. A popular free icon tool is Irfanview.

To use the icon in MindManager, open the Library and choose Add Icon. Browse to the .ICO file you wish to use.

MindManager 8, 7, 6, and X5 Pro users can use the Package Folders command to import whole folders of .ICO files. These new icons will act just like the stock icon types in MindManager. These new icons will appear in the Map Marker Icons section of the library after being inserted.
