VSFlex Component One error

Applies to:  MindManager 8, 7

 

Symptom:

 

After installing MindManager 8 or 7, a message pops up with the title "About ComponentOne VSFlexGrid8" (Unicode/Light)

 

Cause:

 

The VSFlex component could be shared by other programs and became unregistered for one of the programs after installing MindManager.

 

Resolution:

 

To solve for this, the component needs to be manually re-registered.  Follow the below commands:

 

Go to Start – Run.  Type:

 

regsvr32 /u "C:\Program Files\Mindjet\MindManager 8\vsflex8n.ocx"

 

then

 

regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Mindjet\MindManager 8\vsflex8n.ocx"
