License activation error message FAQ
See below for a list of known activation error messages and the procedure to solve for them.
To begin, a requirement to activate MindManager is that user profiles need full read/write access to these registry keys:
Note: most users will need access to REGEDIT.EXE in order to modify these keys. As always users should be very careful to only modify the keys listed as changing the registry in other ways could have unintended consequences

When activating on Windows Vista, a common command that can solve for many of the below issues is to run the installer or the executable as an administrator. This can be accomplished by right-clicking the install exe or the main MindManager.exe from the program files directory (not a shortcut) and choosing the command Run as Administrator.
General activation failure. Details: Licensing storage is inaccessible. Please verify your permissions.

MindManager cannot evaluate your product license.

Failed creating a license request.

Unhandled exception has occurred in a component in your application.
