Export to Microsoft PowerPoint not available

Symptom
 
In MindManager the export functionality to Microsoft PowerPoint is not available.
 
Resolution
 
1. Please make sure that the following software is installed and updated:

• PowerPoint 2002, 2003 or 2007
  
• All latest Service Packs of your Office Version
  
• MindManager is updated to latest version (MindManager > Help > Check for Updates).

2. Check in MindManager if the corresponding Add-In is activated.

• In MindManager 6: Tools > Options > Add-Ins
  
• In MindManager 7/8: MindManager Button > MindManager Options > Add-Ins

3. Try a repair of MindManager via Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs

4. Check in PowerPoint if the MindManager Element is deactivated:

• PowerPoint 2007: PowerPoint Button > Addins > Drop-down box > Disabled items
  
• Earlier Powerpoint versions: Help/? > About Microsoft PowerPoint > Disabled Items
  
• Enable all related items that are listed here

5. Try a repair of MS PowerPoint via Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs

6. Try to manually re-register the Add-in:

• Go to START > Run...  and execute the following line:
  regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Mindjet\MindManager X\MmXPPExport.dll"

If none of the above works, perform a complete re-installation of MindManager via the Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
