MindManager Mac 8 Beta Program

MindManager 8 Mac Beta Program Details:

The beta program is open for all participants, both customers and the general public. You will not need a license key but the application will expire on February 28th, 2010.

Over the past few months we have gathered a tremendous amount of feedback from you regarding MindManager 8 for Mac and have been working hard on enhancing the Import/Export features to include Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint, Apple Pages and Apple Keynote. 

In the new build you will find the following additions: 

  • An extended expiration date of February 28, 2010.
  • Enabled Share feature so that you can quickly upload your maps to Facebook, Twitter, and Email. 
  • Support for enhanced import/export features with the programs listed above (enabled in 1-2 weeks).
NOTE: Mindjet will communicate via the Mindjet Blog and an email to each of you indicating when the import and export services will become available.

Here are some noteworthy considerations for participants:

  • Earlier versions of MindManager Mac 8 Beta expired on November 30th. 
  • It’s possible to run the beta version concurrently with MindManager Mac 6 and 7. 
  • Add-ins should function with Beta Release of MindManager Mac 8 but not on previously installed versions of MindManager. 
  • There is a possibility that your current 3rd party Add-ins will not work with Beta Release of MindManager 8 Mac.
  • Opening a MindManager map file (*.mmap) will default to the Beta Release of MindManager Mac 8.
  • When you uninstall/delete the Beta release, your existing map files will open in the older release version of MindManager. You may need to reinstall MindManager 6/7 if you replaced it with MindManager 8 Mac Beta.

Please report any observed issues, problems, and provide any additional feedback for the duration of use.
