Applies to: MindManager X5, 6 and 7
 
Symptom

In MindManager or Word is import/export functionality not available.
 
Resolution

Follow these steps to bring the Word add-in back:
 
- Check in MindManager 7 under MindManager Options > Add-Ins - if the corresponding add-in is activated.  In MindManager 6 check under Tools > Options > Add-Ins.
 
- Repair MindManager via the windows control panel Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs

- Open a command prompt as an administrator - run the following command to register the add-in manually:
regsvr32 "C:\Program Files\Mindjet\MindManager X\MmXWord.dll"

X= replace with version number 5, 6 or 7.
 
If none of the above works, perform a complete re-installation of MindManager via the Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
